Thérapie consists of a group of Massage and Bodywork Therapists who work together to provide treatments best suited to your needs. Each has specialized training in different modalities and together we are able to offer treatment plans to bring you results and help you feel better.
We have been in business since 2007 providing quality service to clients who come from near and far to benefit from our specialized treatments. We provide massage, bodywork, manual lymphatic drainage, and spa treatments to clients of all ages and all levels of wellness. Breast cancer affects women throughout the world in great numbers, but most women are unaware of the many benefits of breast massage. Breast cancer has touched all our lives and it is our mission to ensure that women everywhere understand how important breast massage can be for overall breast health and for post-surgical recovery.
Sally is a Board Certified Massage and Bodywork Therapist, Medical Massage Practitioner, Oncology Massage Practitioner, and Certified Lymphedema Therapist.
In 2007 Sally opened Thérapie with the goal of using her experience with massage to help others become pain-free. After being diagnosed with breast cancer, she became even more focused and developed what is now known as The Spurgeon Method®. For over a decade, Sally has been helping women overcome the pain associated with breast surgery through therapeutic massage and bodywork. Today, she's more committed than ever to teaching her method to the next generation of massage therapists.
Thérapie is a Nationally Approved Provider for Continuing Education.
The Spurgeon Method® is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in the US and Accredited by ThinkTree in the UK.
Michelle has been with Thérapie since she left massage school over a decade ago. She is skilled at many different massage modalities, including oncology massage, medical massage and energy work . Involved with The Spurgeon Method® since its inception, Michelle has been helping post-mastectomy clients heal since 2014 and has helped many clients reach their wellness goals.
Michelle V, or Miss V as she is affectionately known, has been a medical massage therapist, lymphedema therapist, and massage therapy instructor for over 20 years.
Miss V joined the team at Thérapie after her own experience with breast cancer and is passionate about offering and teaching The Spurgeon Method®. When not working with clients, Miss V makes time in her busy schedule to also teach Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Kinesio Taping classes.
Debra was guided to study massage therapy after having breast cancer and developing Lymphedema. She used her personal journey and learned experiences to channel her passion toward caring for others, and it shows!
Debra is a Cosmetic Surgery Therapist certified with the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy, certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage with Klose Training, and enjoys doing postural correction work to help alleviate pain. After taking training in The Spurgeon Method®, Debra felt drawn to Thérapie as the next step on her path. When not working she enjoys hiking, listening to live music, and traveling to new places.
Nalea was drawn to Thérapie after family members had faced a breast cancer diagnosis. Seeking a way to help them, she learned The Spurgeon Method® and Manual Lymphatic Drainage and enjoys offering these to clients in addition to Swedish or relaxation massage, energy work and aromatherapy. She is currently studying to become a Master Aromatherapist and loves to pamper her clients.
Teruance discovered his passion for massage while in his early teens. While serving in the Air Force he decided to pursue that passion and received his Massage Therapy License in North Carolina in 2015.
Teruance became interested in breast massage after his grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent mastectomy surgery. He is a constant learner and possesses a wealth of information on many massage modalities including Manual Lymphatic Drainage. He specializes in treatments for post-surgical conditions.
Teruance's integrative approach to bodywork is fluid and nurturing and ensures a therapeutic, relaxing session that meets the needs of each of his clients.
Rosalba has been an esthetician for over 34 years. Originally starting with Jaffra Cosmetics in Mexico, she worked at many high-end resorts until opening her own successful business in Las Vegas.
After selling her business, Rosalba worked at Canyon Ranch Resort, but found she longed to help clients on a deeper level. Rosalba joined Thérapie to share her experience and her passion for health and wellness with all our clients, including those undergoing oncology treatments.
Jib is the glue that holds our team together. She joined Thérapie in November of 2021, bringing with her a desire to help others on their healing journey and management experience to help support our team and enable them to deliver the best experience possible for our clients.
Jib is always willing to listen and offer suggestions for a treatment or therapist that will best suit a client's needs.
Keirra worked at Thérapie as both front desk manager and as a massage therapist who specialized in pre and post-natal massage. After having her second child, Keirra continued to work at the front desk and to share her knowledge of lactation and post-partum issues with our clients.
While no longer working at the office, Keirra continues to be a valued consultant to both clients and staff.
