Breast cancer affects women throughout the world in great numbers, but most women are unaware of the many benefits of breast massage. Breast cancer has touched all our lives and it is our mission to ensure that women everywhere understand how important breast massage can be for overall breast health and for post-surgical recovery.
As the Office Manager of Thérapie, Laurel brings a unique blend of personal experience and professional dedication to her role. Her journey began as a client, seeking relief from painful edema caused by a tumor and other health issues. This transformative experience ignited her passion for women's health and community outreach.
With a background as both an EMT and children's behavioral therapist, Laurel is well-versed in providing compassionate, high-quality care. She is deeply committed to supporting clients going through the difficult process of adjusting to life after a cancer diagnosis, as well as clients going through life- and gender-affirming reconstructive surgeries and is dedicated to ensuring the best pre- and post-operative outcomes for everyone in our community. Her empathetic approach and extensive knowledge make her an invaluable advocate for our clients' health and well-being.
She hopes to continue learning and expanding her knowledge of how to provide the best therapy possible for her community here in Las Vegas.
Michelle V, or Miss V as she is affectionately known, has been a medical massage therapist, lymphedema therapist, and massage therapy instructor for over 20 years.
Miss V joined the team at Thérapie after her own experience with breast cancer and is passionate about offering and teaching The Spurgeon Method®. When not working with clients, Miss V makes time in her busy schedule to also teach Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Kinesio Taping classes.
Nalea was drawn to Thérapie after family members had faced a breast cancer diagnosis. Seeking a way to help them, she learned The Spurgeon Method® and Manual Lymphatic Drainage and enjoys offering these to clients in addition to Swedish or relaxation massage, energy work and aromatherapy. She is currently studying to become a Master Aromatherapist and loves to pamper her clients.
Carissa is a Board Certified Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork Practitioner. She holds a Master’s degree in Exercise Science and has taken extensive training in Swedish massage, medical massage, deep tissue specifics (Structural Integration) and Craniosacral Therapy. She more recently has added Manual Lymphatic Drainage and The Spurgeon Method® of breast massage to her skill set. Carissa’s goal is to help her clients alleviate chronic pain and tension. Her experience of chronic pain and tension is deeply personal. She had chronic low back pain in her mid-twenties, an experience that steered her towards Structural Integration and Craniosacral Therapy. These modalities didn’t just alleviate her pain; they transformed her understanding of pain, tension and stress. Blending these techniques with traditional Swedish massage and Manual Lymphatic Drainage creates a session that is relaxing and highly effective at relieving chronic
pain, tension and stress.
Today, with over two decades of experience in health and wellness, her commitment is to offer you a massage experience that is not only relaxing but therapeutically transformative. Her approach is a unique blend of expert knowledge in human anatomy and body function, coupled with an intuitive understanding of each client’s needs. She is here to help you navigate your path to better health, offering a healing touch that addresses both the symptoms and their underlying causes.

For over a decade, Sally has been helping women overcome the pain associated with breast surgery through therapeutic massage and bodywork. Today, she's more committed than ever to teaching her method to the next generation of massage therapists.
