Cindy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from State University of New York at Buffalo. She was working in a clinical lab setting providing doctors with blood test results post bone marrow transplant. Although she was never in contact with these patients, she knew she was doing her part in the overall care of the patient. Knowing that there was more that she can do to affect people, she had her calling to go into massage therapy in the spring of 2000.
Cindy began her journey in massage and bodywork when she graduated from the Swedish Institute in New York City in 2001. Since getting the ground knowledge of Swedish massage, Sports/Deep Tissue massage and Shiatsu from the Swedish Institute, she has added numerous other modalities to broaden her skill set. She has taken Reflexology classes, Upledger’s Craniosacral classes, John Barnes’ Myofascial Release classes and has completed the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy in which she learned Manual Lymph Drainage and Complete Decongestive Therapy.
Cindy looks at each individual person and tailors each session to his or her needs. Her therapeutic massages help to create a balance in body, mind and soul.
